Beneficiaries

The beneficiaries of this project include: bilingual and multilingual children and parents, teachers and teacher trainers, schools and headteachers, non-government organisations and government departments, policy-makers, and the academic and research communities. Stakeholders will disseminate and devolve knowledge from the onset of the study to not only further the findings of the study but also allow for capacity building and impact activities through this uniquely interdisciplinary collaboration. The institutional support and research networks in place provide a favourable environment for the success of the project in terms of dissemination, capacity building, and creating impact.

Impact Board

The Impact Board aims to steer the project in its engagement with government, policymakers, charities, practitioners and multilingual families in India. It is responsible for knowledge exchange and disseminating research findings to relevant stakeholders across India and UK.

The project is committed to capacity-building in India and in the UK as well as to maximizing the impact of the research. Impact activities include engaging with policy-makers, educational charities, practitioners, and teachers on specific policies from the onset of the study.
